Welcome to
Java Jars
What do you get when you add two passionate Catholics (one revert and one convert), a love of cold brew, a dash of sass, and some recording equipment? A podcast aimed at discussing how God is ever present through the lens of theology, philosophy, and psychology. *disclaimer: Tangents will occur*
Established in 2019 in a small coffee shop in Findlay, OH between two friends. What at first came out as an off the wall comment during random discussion birthed the start of what became an actualized reality.
Emma Geis
Emma holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Findlay and a Master of Arts in Theology and Christian Ministry degree from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. She is active in youth, college, and young adult ministry and has a heart for international missions. Emma enjoys hiking, fishing, spending time with friends and Our Lord. Emma hopes to serve in college ministry helping students claim their faith for their own and live the Gospel boldly. If the Lord does not call her to college ministry, she hopes to be in the international mission field (preferably where alpacas and llamas are located)

Greggory Kalka
Greggory likes long walks on the beach, eucharistic adoration, and cold brew coffee. Greggory is a convert to the Catholic faith and has been a practicing Catholic since Easter 2010. He enjoys spending his free time playing guitar and attempting (and failing miserably) to spread the Gospel through word and action. We all fail sometimes right? *There is rumor that Greggory once drank 12 pots worth of cold brew coffee, saw into the future, and said it tasted purple.
*These claims have never been substantiated Age 29
